Mark Anyan
General Manager
Mark graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a honours degree in music, having majored in and studied voice, and has since been continuously involved in singing and choral music.
As well as the General Manager for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Mark is a singing tutor for Durham County Music Service, Musical Director of Newcastle Choral Society and Quay Lasses at the Sage Gateshead, and joint Musical Director of Durham Cathedral Young Singers. His passion remains with performing and he makes regular appearances as a tenor soloist with choral societies and vocal ensembles throughout the North of England.
Mark spent 4 years as the Musical Director of the Huddersfield Choral Society Youth Choir before moving to North Yorkshire. He’s married to Emma, has a 2 year old daughter (Sophie) and enjoys travelling and taking time out on the family farm.
