Gillian Dibden Awarded MBE
Choral Legend and NYCGB Guest Conductor Gillian Dibden has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. Gillian, who has won awards at National and International level with her various choirs has been conducting for 46 years and this Easter directed the NYCGB Boys' Choir course. Many congratulations go to her from all of us at NYCGB!
Laudibus at the Edinburgh Fringe
Laudibus will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in a candle-lit concert at St Mary's Cathedral, featuring choral settings of Scottish Poetry. Alexander McCall Smith introduces Tom Cunningham's settings of his poetry and will be available to sign Laudibus' new Disc. The concert is on the 15th August and begins at 10.00pm. Tickets are £14 and £10.
